Heather is the Director of Communications at CoCreate Financial, where she works on all aspects of communications for the firm with its clients and the community. This includes creating meaningful and educational content for the company’s website, social media channels, client-facing materials and development and planning of the firm’s special events.
Prior to coming to CoCreate, Heather worked in health care, agriculture and the nonprofit grantmaking space in both Montana, Missouri and Kansas. While in those industries, she participated in strategic, high-level projects, and she brings that wealth of experience to CoCreate. Specifically, that includes:
While working in agriculture, Heather also developed a deep appreciation for creation and the scientific discovery and advancement that has aided farmers in helping to feed the world. She has carried that curiosity throughout her career and uses it to fuel her energy today as she learns more about the intricacies of the financial industry.
Heather employs creative storytelling to explain hard concepts, just as Jesus did by telling parables. Equally as important is her belief that there is incredible power in words (Proverbs 18:21), and great responsibility in communicating in a compassionate and thoughtful way to help inspire and move people towards positive change and the realization of their goals and dreams. Her faith and philosophy align well with CoCreate’s values, one of which is treating others first and foremost with love and respect. From that foundation, a love of service to others flows freely.
Outside of work, Heather likes to spend time in God’s beautiful creation here in Montana trail running, hiking, and paddle boarding with her husband Tyler and their Australian cattle dog, Foxy. She is also an equestrian and enjoys caring for and riding her retired racehorse, Hutch. She dabbles in writing fiction and nonfiction to relax, express her faith, and have fun.
