As Chief Planning Officer at CoCreate Financial, Christa is dedicated to creating financial plans that align with each client’s values, goals, and unique life story. She leads CoCreate's efforts in all aspects of financial planning, offering guidance on topics ranging from tax and estate planning to lifetime passive income strategies. For Christa, financial planning is far more than managing assets — it’s about empowering clients to fully use their resources to equip them to engage in joyful work, meaningful experiences, and lasting impact.
Christa brings a wealth of expertise to her role, holding the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®) designations. Her career began as a family-law paralegal, where she guided clients through some of life’s toughest challenges. Her work with clients involved navigating complex relational dynamics and engaging in financial analysis in order to structure settlements most effectively. She transitioned to the financial industry in 2016 as a Financial Advisor at Raymond James, later joining CoCreate in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature from Northwest University, with minors in Greek and Biblical Languages, and a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University.
Christa believes in crafting adaptable, purpose-driven plans that support clients through all of life’s seasons. Her personal journey, including overcoming a work injury in her early 20s, fuels her commitment to creating plans that embrace life's unpredictable nature. Transitions are critical junctures in life and financial planning should equip clients to navigate all of life’s many transitions, providing flexibility and stability for both the expected and unexpected.
Outside the office, Christa is active in her community. She served on the Board of CASA/GAL of Gallatin County from 2020 to 2024 and was Board President from 2023 to 2024, in addition to serving as a CASA for a child in foster care for six years. She also volunteered with Canine Companions, where she raised four puppies to serve individuals with disabilities. As a Journey of Generosity facilitator with Generous Giving, Christa helps others explore how generosity can deepen their lives and relationships. She also enjoys learning continually and usually has a few books on her nightstand. In the winter, you can find her enjoying the Montana outdoors through cross-country skiing.
Christa’s relationship-based approach is reflected in CoCreate Financial’s commitment to maintaining a low client-to-advisor ratio, allowing her to form meaningful, long-term client engagements. This allows her to focus on understanding each client’s core values so that she can work with them to define and accomplish goals that are in line with what is truly important to them.
For Christa, the most rewarding part of her work is guiding clients toward clarity, peace, and satisfaction as they see their financial lives come into alignment with their core values and aspirations. She is excited to support each client’s journey, providing the tools and insight needed to navigate life’s complexities with confidence and purpose.
