Emma Shaw originally joined CoCreate Financial as the team's summer intern. She recently accepted a full-time position with the firm as an associate.
Emma is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute her strengths in analysis, organization, and relationship-building in a firm that honors the unique design of each individual and views financial planning as a tool for helping people live out their God-given purpose. Inspired by CoCreate’s efforts to transform financial obstacles into opportunities, Emma is eager to learn from a team that leads with faith, integrity, and a genuine commitment to walking alongside others through life’s journeys.
Emma is currently finishing her dual degree in Economics and Finance. Her studies have equipped her with a strong foundation in financial metrics, market dynamics, behavioral economics, and investment analysis. She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration and is an active member of the Public Choice Associates Program, where she explores the dynamics between free-market principles and individual decision-making to shape economic outcomes. This background has fueled her passion for connecting the technical side of finance with a relational, values-based approach to providing excellent client service and support.
At CoCreate, Emma supports a wide range of projects, including investment research, financial planning, compliance, and operational strategy. She is especially interested in using her knowledge of economics to further help clients with intentional financial planning so that they may pursue lives of purpose and generosity. Emma is excited to be a part of a team that values curiosity, critical thinking, and authentic connection.
Outside of work and academics, Emma loves hiking, photography, and spending time outdoors with her golden retriever, Stetson. Whether she is exploring Montana’s natural beauty or the intricacies of financial planning, Emma is dedicated to bringing a spirit of curiosity to everything she does. Emma is honored to be a part of the CoCreate team and to contribute to a mission that puts people, purpose, and faith at the center of financial life.
